We are hiring for a Senior Brand Manager, for our Yates business in the Lawn Care Category. Yates is the market leader in Lawn Care across a portfolio of brands. The Lawn Care sub-catgeory is the second largest within total Garden Care and has significant opportunity for growth. The Yates Lawn care range spans the segments of Lawn Seeds, Lawn Fertilisers, Lawn Weed, Lawn Pest Control Products.
This is an exciting and unique opportunity with a focus on innovation and NPD pipelines. You will navigate the strategy development, innovation pipeline and activation of the Lawn care portfolio. You will draw on the full marketing mix, combining category thinking with brand building and communications along with portfolio management and strong NPD execution.
The role is based out of Padstow. It is a high impact, high engagement role interacting with Executive Leadership Team and collaborating with with CX, Sales & Innovation teams to ensure long term profitability is maximised through category thinking & brand plans.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a long-term innovation pipeline.
- Ensure all Channels & Customer sales teams are set up for success to support the Lawn Care categories in the market place
- Develop consumer communication with ownership for both above the line and below the line.
- Partner with Category Manager, sales team, procurement and innovation team to maximize returns through pricing, supply chain and manufacturing optimization for Lawn Care sub-categories.
- Agency and budget management
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience in strategic brand management
- Strong commercial acumen and financial understanding
- In-depth knowledge of stage & gate processes
- Proven marketing experience within B2C is preferable
- Qualifications in Marketing or similar
