Play a vital role in Queenslanders Building Better by becoming a Senior Building Inspector with QBCC
- work variety and travel throughout greater South-East Queensland (with use of company car)
- apply your knowledge and experience to mentor, inform, educate and mediate
- manage, lead and mentor a team of like-minded experienced Inspectors to promote best practice and build public confidence in the Industry
QBCC also serves to educate, protect and support the community and the Industry via licensing and registers, education, dispute resolution and adjudication, and enforcing compliance.
QBCC are looking for experienced builders who have Medium Rise Builder's Licence (or who are eligible to) and current Driver's Licence, and leadership experience to provide expert technical advice to consumers, customers and industry groups relating to building work in the State of Queensland.
You will conduct technical investigations, prepare reports and statements to help resolve disputes relating to building work, including issuing Directions and holding contractors to task if necessary but importantly provide advice to, and mediate between contractors and consumers to provide optimum solutions.
