ACRWORLD are working exclusively with an Australian owned Facilities Management company with an expansive portfolio across high end residential and commercial properties in Sydney.
Due to company growth an exciting full time ongoing opportunity is available for an experienced Building Manager to manage a prestigious residential property in Sydney.
As the site has recently been handed over - you will have new building set up experience including the management of the common property defects process with the builder.
About the role:
- Ensuring all building procedures are maintained
- Providing guidance and advice on annual expenditure and budgets
- Management of all contractors, cleaning team and Assistant Building Manager including performance and ensuring work is carried out to a high standard
- Help identify and manage any potential building defects and liaise closely with builders.
- Enforce strata by-laws and ensure they are adhered to be all occupants.
- Obtain competitive quotations where contracts are due for renewal.
- Prepare and submit monthly reporting.
- Offer regular recommendations to the Strata Committee and attend AGM/Executive Committee meetings
About you:
- 3-5 years experience in Residential Facilities Management
- Proactive and able to work autonomously or within a team
- Must have a strong customer focus (Hospitality background beneficial)
- In depth knowledge of Strata Schemes, Statutory Legislation and WHS
- Professional presentation with excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Previous defect management experience or managing a new build
- Excellent customer service skills
- A positive attitude with flexibility to perform varied duties- some after hours work may be required
