We are looking for Senior Business Analysts to join our Stores Technology team, where we are dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of our hand-held devices, optimizing inventory levels, and creating a seamless experience for both customers and staff. What You Will Be Doing: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analysing requirements for Digital Stores initiatives. Defining and document technical user stories and tasks across the end-to-end ecosystem, including UI, BFF, microservices, and backend systems. Leveraging your experience as Senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. Assisting in documenting technical specifications including file/api design specs. Applying your inquisitive nature to explore and understand complex business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement. Contributing to the development of mobile and web applications, ensuring they align with business objectives and user needs. Working closely with stakeholders to understand retail processes, identifying areas for efficiency improvements and enhanced customer experiences. Utilizing your strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Applying your cloud expertise, particularly in AWS, to contribute to the scalability and reliability of our systems. Demonstrating SQL proficiency for data analysis and reporting. To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have the Following: Experience working as a Senior level Business Analyst in previous roles. Proven experience working with mobile and web application development teams. Proven experience as a Scrum Master. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. An inquisitive nature, always seeking to understand and improve business processes. Experience defining and documenting technical user stories and tasks across the end-to-end ecosystem (UI, BFF, microservices, backend, etc.). Proven experience working in teams to deliver large scale complex systems. Proficiency in system analysis & diagramming techniques to effectively analyze and document system requirements, use cases, and workflows. Experience working with logging and Monitoring & Alerting tools desirable but not essential. Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and skills. Cloud or AWS experience, contributing to the scalability and reliability of systems. Technical experience with SQL and a good understanding of AWS basics (SQS, RDS) would be nice-to-have, but not essential. Retail industry experience would be desirable but not necessary.
