My client is a large and complex ASX listed business in the services industry.
Job Description
You will be an integral member of the HRIS Project team, the expected deliverables are: * Use your deep payroll knowledge to help with teh design and configuration of Ceridian Dayforce's payroll module. Configure payroll workflows, tax calculations, and deduction setups to meet the needs of various employee types and compensation structures.

• Collaborate with the different business departments to gather requirements, asses current processes, identify gaps and design solutions to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency.
• Define the requirements and complete workbooks for the system to manage employee deductions accurately.
• Define the requirements and complete workbooks for the payroll module to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll runs, including validating payroll data, reconciling payroll reports, and resolving discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the project team to develop and execute comprehensive test cases for the payroll module ensuring that the system functions correctly and meets the established requirements for payroll.
• Share your knowledge on the payroll functionality to enable the development of training materials ensuring end-user needs on how to effectively use the payroll module that have been considered in the training material.

The Successful Applicant
Th right candidate will posses the following: * Extensive knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and best practices. At least 5 years of payroll experience.

• Strong technical proficiency and understanding of existing payroll system data and system configuration.
• Familiar with tax laws and regulations relating to payroll.
• Has experience managing complex payroll deductions, including benefits, and superannuation contributions.
• Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve payroll-related issues, discrepancies, and errors promptly.
• In-depth knowledge of Workforce Management best practice and policies
• Proven relationship management and influencing skills to achieve outcomes
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks to ensure on-time delivery against objectives
