ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Change Lead to join a dynamic team working on an enterprise-level Defence project. This role requires strategic advisory and change management expertise, focusing on managing change in a structured and thoughtful manner. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to execute projects, perform current state assessments, develop operating models, and conduct change impact analysis.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Strategic Advisory and Change Management: Provide strategic advice on change management processes and best practices. Manage change in a structured, thoughtful way to ensure smooth transitions and minimize disruption.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work collaboratively with stakeholders across various services (Army, Navy, Airforce) and Joint operations to ensure successful project execution and buy-in.
- Project Leadership: Participate as a key member of the project leadership team, contributing to high-level decision-making and strategy development.
- Current State Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of the current state to identify areas for improvement and develop comprehensive operating models.
- Change Impact Analysis: Analyze the impacts of proposed changes to assess risks and benefits, ensuring changes are beneficial and feasible.
- Execution of Projects: Oversee the execution of change management projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Design Support: Support the design and implementation of the enhanced defence system.
MORE ABOUT YOU
- NV1 Clearance: Must hold or be able to obtain an NV1 security clearance.
- Experience: Proven experience in strategic advisory and change management roles, preferably within a Defence or similarly structured environment.
- Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to conduct current state assessments, change impact analysis, and develop operating models.
- Defence Industry Experience: Experience working on Defence projects or within Defence organizations.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Change Management Certification: Relevant certifications in change management (e.g., PROSCI, PMP).
