Role
Senior Business Support OfficerThe Senior Business Support Officer is responsible the provision of administration support services to
the Manager, Office of the Chief Executive (OCE), Deputy Director, OCE, Chief Executive and the OCE
more broadly.
This role provides a range of specialised support services that contribute to the effective and efficient
operation of the OCE including records management, administrative and executive support, copy editing,
coordination of briefing and meeting documentation, and other administrative duties as required.
The role requires being adaptable to organise priorities based on the Manager, OCE, Deputy Director,
OCE and/or Chief Executive requirements, often multi-tasking within short timeframes. Holding skills of
high-level verbal and written communication, ability to think laterally, proficiency in Microsoft Office
software and a high attention to detail is vital to the success of the role. Displaying enthusiasm, a
motivated attitude to work, being organised, resilient and contributing to the team culture are core
attributes.Key outcomes required of the role
Working efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Manage competing demands,
using high level organisational skills, with an ability to multitask, whilst considering future
business needs.
Provide effective and efficient administrative support to the Chief Executive, Deputy Director,
Manager, and members of the OCE team as required and ensures information is
communicated in an accurate and timely way.
Contribute to the ongoing management of correspondence through receipt, registration,
processing, dispatch, follow up, filing and ongoing management of records and associated
systems.
Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite, and business applications (e.g. KNet,
Basware, Bizflow and Promaster).
