Senior Business Support Officer.Reporting into the Capability Manager you will be part of the team responsible for performing portfolio, program and project management support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of high quality co-ordination and management of services and projects in line with established objectives.
What you will doAs an integral member of the
Business Support Capability Team, you will:
- Support high visible programs, projects and Operations (BAU) teams for producing reports, briefs and key documentation.
- Operate as secretariat for working groups, Steerco and other governance forums as required.
- Assist to maintain master schedules, risks and issues register and keep them updated in the reporting tools.
- Establish and maintain high quality communication with key stakeholders and undertake research and analysis to identify trends for supporting program, project or BAU requirements.

About youThe skills, knowledge and experience we are looking for in you are:
- Demonstrated experience in providing high level co-ordination and support to complex programs in a large organisation, including relevant qualifications or equivalent. This includes proven knowledge and capability in maintaining master schedules, risk and issues registers, identifying potential or actual issues and seeking resolution through the appropriate channels.
- Demonstrated experience in organising and managing high level governance meetings such as program or portfolio level steering committees.
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret information, prepare written reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
