You’ll analyse sales, manage inventory & OTB, coordinate international shipments and work with marketing to communicate key products. This role is primarily remote (WFM - we’re a 100% remote team); however some physical presence in Sydney will be required from time to time.

What we need your help with

Here are some of the responsibilities you will handle:

  • Source new brand that match our vibe: Know what’s what and what will kill it on our sites and work with new brands to successfully launch on Rushfaster sites globally (AU, US, UK, EU).
  • Work closely with our suppliers: Build strong rapport, negotiate terms, coordinate deliveries, manage deals, sales goals & rebates.
  • Product selection & buying: Refills, indents, showings, clearance items… you’ve done this before.
  • Inventory management & analysis: Analyse how things are going and keep inventory within reasonable limits. Minimise stockouts, know our products and identify opportunities to increase the business.
  • Communication & coordination: Keep the team up to date with all things product. Coordinate with operations team to upload correct product information.
  • Operational: Coordinate international and local shipments, ensure products meet our standards of packaging, quality, environmental & social responsibility.

About you…

  • Great negotiation, communication & people skills.
  • Inventory & supply chain management skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: We’re IT first, we aim to solve our problems with IT systems where possible and we embrace AI and new tech to improve our operations. Some of the tools we use are: Shopify, Stocky, Slack, Notion, Gsuite, 3PL portals, Excel, ChatGPT, and Loom (some of these can be learnt on the job). This role requires strong Excel skills.

  • Highly attentive to detail & super curious: A keen eye on the details and a curiousness to identify where we can improve. Noticing things other people wouldn’t, and ensuring we’re always on point.
  • Humility and openness: The ideal candidate should have a humble approach, value collaboration, and recognise the importance of collective success. This includes the capacity to accept feedback constructively and make decisions that prioritise the organisation's needs, fostering a harmonious and productive work environment.

Our work culture is dynamic, supportive and fosters personal and professional growth. We believe in a collaborative environment where everyone's input is valued and encouraged. We maintain a high standard of excellence, and we also understand the importance of work-life balance. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about their work, are team players, and are ready to contribute to our mission.

This position might not be a good fit for you if…

  • You prefer working from an office and seeing people face-to- ace daily. Our team is 100% distributed, and whilst we do meet up, most of the time we work remotely.
  • You’re uncomfortable with frequent changes and regular, iterative, improvements. To us, change is exciting and we embrace it.
  • You’re not that great with computers/technology. This role requires you to pick up new IT systems / apps fairly effortlessly and use AI to help increase your efficiency.
