About the Role
Join our Employee Experience team in this newly created role to evolve and enhance our Career Development offering. The employee experience is a strategic priority at John Holland, and supporting our people in their development and career growth is central to this. You will play an important role in embedding our capability framework and partner with providers and internal stakeholders to create and deliver development solutions that enhance the employee experience and equip our people with the capability to deliver on our many exciting projects. There will be many opportunities to invest in your own career growth by owning and driving initiatives within the Employee Experience team. You will report to the Head of Career Development and be based out of either our Sydney (Pyrmont) or Melbourne (CBD) offices
What you will do;
- Support the Head of Career Development to implement strategic and effective development offering, aligned to business goals and capability framework
- Identify capability gaps to determine learning priorities and develop targeted learning solutions in partnership with providers
- Lead the evaluation of learning interventions, and make recommendations for amendment, expansion or discontinuance of interventions
- Lead end-to-end programs and initiatives, i.e. Onboarding, annual Mentoring Programs, Community of Practice, promotion campaigns of LinkedIn Learning and other development offerings
- Lead the design of engaging and effective learning content in partnership with providers across a variety of instructional modes and audiences. Ensure that the content is aligned with learning principles, instructional design best practices, and the organisation's branding and messaging.
- Partner with People Teams to provide operational support and advise to business units and Projects in relation to development goals, plans, capability development and overall employee experience
- Deliver presentations, run meetings and workshops, facilitate training, and engage with key stakeholders to achieve desired learning outcomes
- Utilise data and learning analytics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Use this information to make data-driven decisions and recommendations for future learning initiatives.
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Education/Training, Organisational Development or related disciplines
- Ideally Cert IV in Training & Assessment + Hogan Assessment Certification
- Experience in OD, Learning or generalist HR roles
- Experience in Project Management within HR
- Experience leveraging a Capability Framework to conduct learning needs analysis and propose recommended development solutions
- Strong experience in consultation, relationship-building and influencing
- Experience in a complex matrix organisation, managing competing priorities
