In this role, you'll:
Be part of the Digital System Program that will transform our network - a lifetime opportunity within Sydney Trains!
You will be embedded within a large-scale strategic program team, partnering with and reporting to the Director Change Management Practice whilst being part of a central Change Practice. You will have the opportunity to lead a small team to ensure the coordination and delivery of organisational change initiatives related to Digital System change impact assessment on Engineering Maintenance.
You will provide strategic direction and facilitate the delivery of the change activities at a Program level by facilitating consistent change management activities, including assuring project change strategies and implementation plans that are consistent with the program change approach. Working in close partnership with stakeholders, you will ensure the business is ready and equipped with the right tools (including impacts assessments) to successfully implement change.
This role will represent the discipline on the Digital Systems Program of work that will replace current signalling and train control technology with modern, internationally proven, intelligent systems. It will help improve reliability, increase capacity and enhance customer experience on Sydney's railway.
This is a full-time fixed term until 31 December 2024 (with potential for further extension), Transport Senior Service TSSM level role offering an attractive remuneration package.

About you
Coming from a heavily regulated industry, you are an experienced, driven and customer-centric change professional with a track record delivering large-scale, safety & operational-critical transformational programs in a highly regulated and unionised environment. Your expertise includes working on multidisciplinary programs, developing and implementing change plans and communicating impacts to the business.
You are able to influence and drive successful change outcomes in a multi-faceted and complex organisation. You are experienced in leading and facilitating stakeholder groups across all levels of the organisational hierarchy.
Your resilience, determination, and ability to overcome unexpected challenges that can arise in a large and ever-changing landscape will prove beneficial to your success. You will ideally hold a certification or qualifications in change management such as Prosci and have knowledge of project management methodologies such as Prince2, PMBOK, Agile.
