About the role:
Working with the Director, Program Service Delivery, this role is responsible for delivering Change Management services and solutions in SYSTRA ANZ's Security and Technology Solutions (STS) line of business. They are responsible for fostering the delivery of professional, high-quality and innovative Change Management services to SYSTRA ANZ's Defence clients.
The role is based at our Sydney location, on-site presence with our clients at Garden Island is required.
A Defence Security Clearance to at least NV1 is needed for this role.
Some key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with Defence clients to formulate comprehensive Change Management strategy aligned with Prosci best practices.
- Conduct thorough assessments to determine the potential impact of proposed changes on various aspects of the organisation.
- Identify and engage stakeholders at all levels, develop effective communication plans to keep them informed and involved throughout the change process.
- Evaluate the organisation's readiness for change, identifying potential barriers and resistance, and develop strategies to address them proactively.
- Design and deliver training programs to equip employees with the knowledge and skills required to adapt to the change effectively.
- Work closely with project teams to develop detailed implementation plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, ensuring smooth execution of change initiatives.
- Establish mechanisms to monitor progress and measure the effectiveness of change initiatives against predefined objectives, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams and key stakeholders throughout the change process, offering coaching and support to overcome challenges and drive adoption.
- Identify potential risks and issues associated with change initiatives and develop mitigation strategies.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned from change initiatives and using feedback to refine Change Management processes and methodologies.
About you

- Procsci Change Management qualification (required)
- Prior experience in Defence industry, ideally with the Navy
- Proven experience in leading organisational change initiatives using Prosci methodology
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing Change Management strategies that align with Defence objectives and drive adoption across various stakeholders.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and communication, including crafting targeted messages and facilitating workshops or meetings with diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in project management techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence change at all levels of the organisation.
