The Senior Technical Change Managerwill be responsible for overseeing the technical governance review of all Tech related transformation changes proposed within EGL. This pivotal role ensures that all changes meet rigorous technical standards and align with business objectives before approval by the transformation (TCAB) and tech change advisory board (CAB).

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role

• Technical Governance Leadership: Chair the Transformational CAB meetings, leading the review, assessment, and governance of proposed IT changes to ensure alignment with EGLs standards and goals.
• Change Evaluation: Critically evaluate complex change proposals for technical viability, potential risks, and impacts on existing systems and business operations.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT changes, ensuring that all changes are evaluated thoroughly and risks are clearly communicated and understood.
• Policy and Standards Development: Develop and maintain robust IT change management policies, procedures, and standards to guide the submission, review, and implementation of changes.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact between IT, business units, and the Technical CAB, facilitating effective communication and decision-making processes.
• Documentation and Reporting: Ensure detailed documentation of all CAB discussions, decisions, and rationales for approvals or rejections. Report key metrics and insights to senior management.
• Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and improve the change management process and Technical CAB operations to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and adaptability.
• Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to IT staff and project managers on change management practices and the Technical CAB process.
• Compliance and Auditing: Ensure all IT change activities comply with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and are ready for audits.

Now let’s talk about you

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience in managing changes in Servicenow
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT operations, with a significant focus on IT governance and change management
• Certifications relevant to IT governance, such as ITIL Expert, COBIT, or CISA
• Worked within a similar sized enterprise in a business/customer facing role
• Strong relationship management
• Extensive experience chairing CAB and TCAB meetings or similar governance bodies
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, operations, and cybersecurity implications of Technical Changes
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to assess risks and impacts of proposed changes.
