Job description

We're seeking a Senior Change and Communications Manager to join our team until the end of 2024 to help deliver on an existing Anti Money Laundering (AML) project. You'll support sponsor and change champions to lead and sustain change. You'll be responsible for planning and managing change activities for assigned initiatives to inform, engage and guide those affected. Helping them to Change and adopt new practices to realise the benefits.

Day to day you will be responsible for:

  • The development and delivery of all change management deliverables for assigned programmes and projects spanning small to extra-large in size and complexity.
  • Developing change programmes which are appropriately scaled to suit the needs of the firm to agreed change management objectives in collaboration with the project team, including the training stream lead (if assigned).
  • Undertaking stakeholder analysis and collaborating with the business sponsor and programme/project manager on the management of stakeholder expectations.
  • Identifying and managing change management risks and issues.
  • Managing the implementation of change activities to reduce resistance, minimise the impact of change on individuals and the business and improve the delivery of benefits.
  • Developing effective communication products using appropriate communication medium and message senders, to get messages across to the right audience within the right sequence and timeframes.
  • Ensuring the training approach, training plan and its delivery meets stakeholder needs, minimises impact, and maximises the effective adoption of the change.
  • Collaborating with programme / project managers and other work stream leads to achieve the change management objectives.
  • Developing Change and Communications standards and guidelines in collaboration with colleagues to ensure content is publicly available and regularly maintained through the intranet for firm-wide use.
  • Training, mentoring and coaching sponsors and network of Change and Communications champions across the firm to develop change management and change resilience capability.
  • Raising awareness and collaborating with Change and Communications leads across the firm to improve visibility and co-ordination of firm-wide change, to maximise impact and promote strategy in a timely focused manner.


To be successful in this position you will have:

  • Formal change management certification, ideally PROSCI accredited.
  • Legal or professional services industry experience, and/or experience or exposure to Anti-Money Laundering and/or financial crime regulations and projects.
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of change management and project management principles.
  • Exceptional professional business writing skills and clear communication.
  • Significant experience in managing changes for multiple, complex projects.
  • Demonstrable experience with cross functional business improvement initiatives.
  • Experience working with global virtual teams.
  • Strong advisory and facilitation skills.
  • Strong influencing and relationship skills. Must be able to influence without the need for direct authority.
