Location: Padstow, South/West Sydney
All Colour Supplies Pty Ltd, an Australian-owned SME specialising in wholesale and manufacturing of Colour additives for the food, coatings, cosmetic, and industrial sectors, is currently seeking a Senior Chemist with a strong focus on Research and Development to join our dynamic team in Padstow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead innovation through collaborative R&D projects with key stakeholders.
- Conduct laboratory trials for product development, implementing technology advancements and process improvements.
- Ensure accuracy of technical data, quality control, and laboratory documentation
- Contribute to the company's leadership team by driving ideas and policies.
- Develop and implement systems for reporting test results, sample archiving, and compliance with GMP regulations.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Science or Food Technology preferred, or equivalent work history.
- Proven experience in the surface coatings industry or food/cosmetic sectors
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment such as UV Spectrophotometer and FTIR
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- You will be a quality-focused individual with excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of Office 365 applications and laboratory experience in a similar environment
- Australian citizenship or right to work in Australia.
