About the role
Key responsibilities
- Prepare designs for civil engineering projects using 12d, AutoCAD and other relevant software
- Manage design packaging and design interfaces
- Produce designs and design documentation
- Manage the submission of documents for design approvals
- Supervise, train and mentor trainee and designers and drafters
- Assist in updates to the standards
About you
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in design (in addition to drafting experience) essential
- Urban development/subdivision and/or local government works experience
- Excellent 12d and AutoCAD skills
- Knowledge of council and other local design standards
- MUSIC and DRAINS skills ideal, but not essential
- Outstanding attention to detail and time management
- Motivation, enthusiasm and initiative

Qualifications
- Australian citizenship is required for this role
- TAFE Qualification or relevant course desirable.
