Murray PHN is a part of the national network of Primary Health Networks across Australia. We work closely with the primary health system to identify opportunities to improve health outcomes in our community.
Murray PHN spans the northern Victoria area from Mildura to Woodend and eastward to Wodonga including Albury NSW. Servicing this area are offices and staff located in Albury (North East), Bendigo (Central Victoria), Mildura (North West) and Shepparton (Goulburn Valley) acknowledging that our region crosses many First Nation lands.
About the role:
Join an exciting, fast paced People and Culture team at Murray PHN. Reporting to the Director of People and Culture, you'll have a key role in developing and implementing human resource strategies, policies, and programs using the full suite of HR tools. Your focus will be on empowering and supporting our employees to thrive, with emphasis on learning, development and growth.
You'll be the go-to expert for providing employee relations advice and coaching across various workforce-related areas and will support the Director of People and Culture to implement and influence the workforce with key strategic projects.
In this role you will:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and projects, including those related to ISO standards within the People and Culture remit.
- Support People Leads and build trusted Business Partner relationships by designing and delivering solutions for people-related matters.
- Lead change management projects, design, communication and implementation.
- Collaborate with business leaders, people leads and employees to implement, Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) strategy and action plans.
- Implement a learning and development framework and facilitate programs to boost employee engagement and motivation.
Skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree majoring in human resources.
- Background in employee relations, generalist or related field with more than 5 years’ relevant experience.
- Experience as a HR Business Partner, preferably with a focus on Diversity & Inclusion, Learning and Development and Organisational Development.
- Experience influencing stakeholders at all levels, offering coaching and guidance to managers and employees.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of change management principles and methodologies.
- Experience in employee relations (ER) and familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively prepare and deliver communications related to change impacts.
