We are working exclusively with a leading private aged care provider in south-east Queensland. They are seeking a Wellness Manager / Senior Clinical manager to join their team to lead their care team and overall care operations.
The organisation is a leader in the private aged care space, with an exciting pipeline of new projects at various stages.

THE ROLE
The purpose of the role is to:
- lead day to day care operations focussing on the quality of life for community residents;
- manage the care team in accordance with the client's vision, mission and values and in line with a all relevant legislation;
- work with community managers to ensure efficient and seamless operations;
- establish and maintain strong and cohesive working relationships with all stakeholders, including residents, families service providers and the community;
- be responsible for the safe and compliant operations of the community and for that of care staff;
- help drive improvements and efficiencies aimed for the best and safest care for the community, as well as a great working environment for staff;
- have a strong understanding of budgets and working within them to ensure best quality care and value for money;
- ensure all required reporting is completed before or by deadlines; and
- manage staffing and supply levels, having regard to best practice.
The salary for the role is flexible and at the top end of the market for strong candidates (base of 120-150K plus super).
YOU
Requirements
- A minimum bachelor's degree in nursing with a current and valid RN registration;
- Strong experience in a nursing supervisory role, either in aged care or community care settings (preferably both);
- Current first aid certificate with CPR, as well as the willingness to obtain required vaccinations;
- Strong knowledge of relevant state and federal legislation;
- Valid working rights in Australia; and
- Demonstrated understanding of the importance of compliance, accuracy, budget planning and reporting.
