The primary purpose of the Senior Clinician/Group Work Coordinator - Adult Survivor Program is to provide state-wide leadership in the development of group work programs for possible use across the state as part of Phase 2 state-wide rollout of the Adult Survivor Program.

What you'll be doing
The Senior Clinician/Group Work Coordinator will research, co-design, develop, implement, facilitate, document and evaluate a range of high-quality group work programs for Adult Survivors of child sexual abuse with complex needs, and their non offending parents and partners. The group work program/s are to be appropriate and adapted for a range of priority populations particularly concerning (but not limited to) different genders and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, and experience as a Level 2 Clinician, willingness to participate on the Prevention and Response to Violence Abuse and Neglect on call roster. Current drivers license with eligibility to drive in NSW and ability to work across various locations and outreach sites within the district as needed.
- Demonstrated extensive post graduate expert clinical knowledge, skill and clinical experience in trauma specific service provision with Adult Survivors of child sexual abuse with complex trauma (mental health and/or alcohol and other drug issues) and commitment to integrated culturally responsive ways of working with clients who have experienced trauma and abuse.
- Demonstrated experience and advanced skills in leading the development, implementation, facilitation and evaluation of evidence based psychoeducation and therapeutic groups to victims of violence, abuse and neglect.
- Demonstrated leadership in effective oral and written communication, consultation, negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
