The Role
• Engagement with a variety of suppliers to ensure appropriate stock management(finished goods & spare parts) to fulfil demand, review supplier invoices to ensure accuracy, and receipt goods in a timely manner.
• Maintain strict control over inventory levels to meet all demand and to achieve company deliverable.
• Establish and maintain supplier relationships, responding to requests and managing the logistics of freight/shipping as required.
• Maintaining the live Shipping Schedule for complete visibility and transparency to multiple stakeholders within the business.
• Timely management of all purchasing requests to enable traceable, and measurable performance outcomes this includes carrying out S&OP meetings with the internal stakeholders.
• Perform inventory inspections and reorder supplies/stock as necessary, monitoring expenditure, facilitating initiatives to prevent surplus and preventable costs.
• Validate invoices to POs, ensuring reconciliation activities are effective, action any anomalies with urgency through to resolution.
• Proficient in Procurement Reporting for monthly submission to Head Quarters
Key skills required for the role are as follows:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement and Planning.
- Experience in using ERP systems and preferably Sap with Material Requirement Planning (MRP).
- Experience with forecasting and projection analysis and reporting.
- Proven experience managing multiple priorities and the ability to pivot with ease as required.
- Proactive and great written / verbal communication, and the ability to work with all levels of the organisation, including both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in a fast-growth and complex Organisation
- Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills
- A bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, or a related field would be an advantage
- Able to speak Mandarin will be an advantage
The Location
Our offices, showroom and warehouse are over 4000m2. They are less than a year old and are state of the art. There is secure onsite parking, 4 kitchens across the premises, courtyard with BBQ area, showers and changing areas and fitness equipment on site to train on if you want a free workout before or after work.
At least once a month, work puts on a free lunch, and we ensure we have social activities, events and tunes playing in the office to give the office a good vibe each day. About You
Working in the health and fitness industry is not essential but will assist you in the role. You will have a positive outgoing personality, good attention to detail and a ‘can do’ attitude. At times you will have some frustrated customers, so you need to be a good listener and have a desire to turn a frown upside down….
You have used a CRM system in the past or are using one in your current job. You have a sense of urgency and a passion for helping people. Being mechanically minded or being that person who reads the instructions of an Ikea flat pack and nails putting their purchase together first time are attributes that could make you a superstar in this role.
