Summary
Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) is an integrated transport infrastructure and precincts planning project that will deliver a 90km rail line linking every major train service from the Frankston Line to the Werribee Line via Melbourne Airport, as well as investment in the suburbs, better connecting Victorians to jobs, retail, education, health services and each other. Suburban Rail Loop Authority (SRLA) is the statutory body established to plan all elements of the project, procure builders, develop structure planning for SRL Precincts and oversee construction and the other changes that will help transform Melbourne and Victoria.

About the opportunity
The Senior Commercial Manager will be responsible for overseeing commercial and procurement aspects in relation to the Linewide package (Works Package G) for SRL East. This position will be responsible for providing commercial and contractual advice through the tender preparation, evaluation, negotiation, contract award and delivery phases. The role will report to the Deputy Director - Commercial (Line-wide) and will work closely with the relevant delivery teams f or SRL's Main Works packages. The role will interface with external commercial advisors and legal advisors to ensure a consistent and agreed approach is taken on commercial and contractual positions which support effective project implementation. This position will play a key role in advising and negotiating on contracts within the commercial space. The role would suit someone who understands and is interested in major project delivery in a government setting.
