Form of workThis is a 5-month daily rate contract role working in the corporate affairs team of a big four bank. You will be responsible for earning trust by building advocacy with stakeholders and the media. Other responsibilities include:
- You will create and deliver communication strategies across a portfolio of areas across the business and may also contribute to the delivery of wider strategies.
- Take ownership of both reactive and proactive media engagement
- Work closely with leadership teams to oversee and manage external communications activity including media releases, speech writing and talking point
This role will suit someone who has:
- Proven experience in an external communications role in the financial services sector, in particular banking (would be highly regarded)
- Experience in a highly regulated industry
- Media connections in the local area
- Confidence dealing with stakeholders across a large, complex organisation
