Your leadership will shape the future of our community initiatives.Program Management Excellence: Design and deliver a cutting-edge community engagement program supporting the council's major projects, including strategic plans, masterplans, and capital works projects. Your innovative approach will drive our community forward.Expert Advisory: Offer your specialized knowledge in community engagement and consultation to various town departments, becoming a pillar of wisdom in our collective effort to engage more deeply with our community.Research and Data Analysis: Utilize your investigative skills to research issues, collect and analyze data, and identify shifts in community needs and priorities. Your insights will inform the development of impactful project and program plans.Strategic Partnership Development: Forge and nurture strategic partnerships with community groups, businesses, government bodies, and more. Your ability to connect and innovate will address key social issues and foster community and sector progress.Program Implementation and Evaluation: Take charge of implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the Community Development Plan and related projects, ensuring they meet their objectives and serve the community's needs effectively.Community and Committee Support: Provide invaluable advice and support to community groups and committees, enhancing the town's outgoing grants program and ensuring impactful expenditure.Values and Integrity: Uphold our organizational values of Unity, Quality, and Integrity in every aspect of your work, ensuring excellence in Community Development practices.Essential Experience:

• A relevant tertiary degree (Community Development, communications, or a related field).
• At least five years of experience in community engagement or development within a major company or government setting.
• Demonstrated ability in planning, delivering, and evaluating community-focused projects, events, or campaigns.
• Proven expertise in Community Development, with a commitment to collective impact frameworks, social innovation principles, and community capacity building.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to transform strategic concepts into practical outcomes.
• Outstanding communication and time management skills, capable of managing multiple projects with precision.
