Your new role
Are you an experienced compliance professional looking to take on a leadership role? We're seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to join our team and oversee the development and implementation of a robust compliance strategy within the Australia and Pacific (AUSPAC) division of the QBE Group of companies. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the organisation identifies all appropriate external regulatory and compliance frameworks for financial services and apply them to facilitate compliance of breach reporting obligations. Your expertise will be crucial in establishing and maintaining effective controls, procedures, and processes to mitigate the risk of breaches of applicable laws, regulations, codes and standards.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Actively lead, coach and develop the Compliance team, ensuring KPI's are met
- Monitor, report and investigate compliance incidents including reporting to Board and senior management
- Ensure adequate controls, procedures and processes are in place to facilitate timely regulatory reporting
- Provide expert advice on any remediation of incidents to make sure its effective and compliant
- Analyse breaches for trends and insights
- Ensure effective communication of compliance strategy and policies
- Provide guidance on regulatory interpretation and keep up to date of regulatory change and requirements that could impact the organisation.
