We're looking for a Senior Tax Consultant who will be responsible for attending to the tax consulting and tax compliance needs of our client base ranging from SME businesses to multinational groups.

In addition to the general tax compliance engagements, this role also assists with transaction support engagements, working on M&A transactions and restructures and all other aspects of tax consulting engagements.

• • Effectively collaborating with clients in meeting their tax compliance and transactional needs.
• • Assisting in a range of diverse engagements ranging from compliance for enterprises to assisting with multinational advisory with the expectation to broaden your skill set.
• • Preparation of workpapers supporting tax positions adopted as part the income tax return preparation process.
• • Analyse tax positions taken pursuant to Australian tax legislation
• • Proactively assist in the income tax calculations and tax effect accounting
• • Communicate confidently with an ability to explain tax concepts and draft tax advice
• • Develop internal relationships with business stakeholders and external relationships with advisers/ clients you will be required to work with
• • Assist with tax audits, reviews and investigations by revenue authorities

• A Business, Commerce or Law Degree or Masters of Tax
• CA Qualified/ Australian Tax Institute accreditation
• 3 – 4 years taxation consulting experience experienced in Australian income tax, GST and FBT matters
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Exceptional work ethic
