Senior Consultant - Geospatial

The opportunity:
Our Security and Technology Solutions team is seeking qualified Geospatial or GIS specialists to join our team to support our Defence and Federal clients in a number of upcoming project areas. Key responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Lead location-based analytics in line with client strategy.
• Coordinate with key geospatial stakeholders department-wide.
• Identify GIS needs, provide solutions, and offer technical insight.
• Assist in day-to-day GIS operations and troubleshooting.
• Provide support and advice on geospatial analysis techniques.
• Coordinate IT operations for GIS software maintenance.
• Integrate GIS applications with other systems in EDW.
• Prepare documentation for GIS tools and processes.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and associated risks.
• Develop work plans with measurable outcomes and indicators.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver Geospatial solutions and support through the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Strong interpersonal skills and capacity to communicate effectively
• Relevant qualifications/certification/accreditation
• Experience and knowledge of Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW) and associated technologies (such as Teradata, Informatica, Hadoop, SAS, Cognos, Qlik, Oracle etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to query and interpret data using efficient and effective SQL and provide sound advice on complex data/information related matters to deliver quality solutions.
• Experience in developing data management design artefacts
• Ability developing and maintaining cost-effective databases.

Must have at minimum a Baseline Defence Security Clearance, ideally NV1.
