About the team
Our Consulting team in Sydney is rapidly expanding and as a result we now have an opportunity for an experienced consultant that can support the delivery of projects and programs from strategy through to execution and support the development and enhancement of tools, processes, and practices by bringing new ideas and thinking to the table.
As a Senior Consultant, you will join our Sydney Consulting team at a time of continuous growth to provide business solutions and to develop solutions to deliver better project and operational outcomes.
Engagements may include (and are not limited to):
- Strategy, Portfolio Prioritisation and Planning
- Operating Model design, implementation and review
- Transformation delivery across programs and projects
- Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and Sustainability
- Business Performance Improvement
- Process optimisation
You’ll be responsible for:
- Supporting the delivery of exceptional client outcomes as part of a BDO team delivering transformation programs and projects from design through to planning and implementation
- Scoping of client needs, work planning and development of proposals
- Bringing different thinking and innovative ideas to solve client challenges
- Supporting our growth through developing and building on BDO products and tools
- Bringing together SMEs across people, process, and technology to deliver for our clients
- Supporting projects from inception to close following a structured approach and best practice project management principles
- Strong generalist consulting experience across multiple sectors and engagement types, with track record of delivery.
- Demonstrable experience and ability to work with senior stakeholders across a broad range of clients.
- An aptitude to grasp new concepts and effectively produce results.
- Well-developed core consulting skills (research, analysis, presentation, and attention to detail).
- Ability to build rapport and relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Proactivity and experience building structures and processes within a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative and innovative culture focused on developing strategic solutions that create long term value for clients.
- Strong time management skills, a proactive attitude and attention to detail
