What's your role?
The Senior Content Design Manager will lead a team of Principal Content Designers and Lead Content Designers to develop and implement strategies and standards that drive content consistency and quality across Bupa Health Insurance digital channels. You will lead the content design team to manage and evolve ways in which content designers work at Bupa.
What will your day look like?
- Provide strategic insights and advisory services in support of key market unit digital enablers and strategic business initiatives.
- Lead marketing-focused & product-focused content designers assigned and embedded across Bupa, Health Insurance and Connected Care.
- Combine broad skills in user-centred content design, content modelling, and SEO to make Bupa’s digital tools and assets clear, concise, useful, and effective.
- Continuously streamline both marketing-focused & product-focused content design processes to improve scalability, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Align headcount to our roadmap, by ensuring the right resources are allocated, at the right times. Ensure company priorities are suitably supported by the skills and strengths required to execute.
As Senior Content Design Manager within the Digital Health Insurance team, you’ll help shape the next chapter in how our customers interact digitally with Bupa - to provide them healthier, happier lives.
What will you bring?
- 10+ years in user-centred content design or related design experience.
- At least 4+ years of experience working with Content Modelling and CaaS ecosystems.
- Experience with distributed authoring models, publishing consistent, personalised content at scale, aligned to content creation guidelines and quality standards.
- Enterprise CMS Production (Sitecore, Adobe Experience Cloud) experiences.
- At least 4+ years' experience working with Design Systems.
- Extensive experience in Design Thinking, Human Centred Design, System-Thinking, Experience Design and UX Research.
- Experience with Lean Process and Agile Ways of Working
- Demonstrated expertise in content design systems, content strategy, content modelling, content planning, information architecture and SEO.
- A good understanding of API ecosystems (business, content, platform)
- Information Architecture design experience (card sorting, tree-jack testing, quantitative analysis)
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, writing, journalism or a similar field.
- Extensive experience using a variety of different online research platforms on a variety of devices (desktop, mobile, tablet)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate complex information and ideas clearly and concisely for a broad audience of stakeholders
- Strong commercial and business acumen
- Expertise in experimental design and methods from A/B tests to multi-method behavioural science experiments, including field experiments.
- Experience with COPE (Create Once Publish Everywhere) Design Thinking, Human Centred Design, System-Thinking, Experience Design and Research
- Experience with the entire software development lifecycle, from foundation research to discovery, delivery, support and growth.
- Experience leading, managing and mentoring teams with a proven ability to drive collaborative culture across a distributed team.
- Demonstrated strong emotional intelligence; intimately understanding and empathising with Bupa customers' varying journeys and preferences.
