THE ROLE
With an excellent presence in the residential and commercial new build and refurbishment sector, and a strong reputation for delivering quality projects, Lords Group is seeking a passionate, experienced, and committed Senior/Contracts Administrator to join our rapidly growing team, delivering projects up to the value of $60m.
This position will be responsible for the contract management and administration of projects, throughout the project life cycle. In addition, you will ensure that the quality and profitability benchmarks of the projects are achieved while financial and contractual risks are minimised.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing all facets of Head-contract, Sub-contract and Supplier agreements.
- Processing external and internal variations, and managing the change management process effectively
- Prepare, Negotiate and Administer, the internal subcontract tender procurement process including workflow approvals
- Preparation of accurate payment schedules, ensuring our partners are paid on time, whilst meeting SOPA obligations
- Understand and manage all internal and external contractual risk, and administer all relevant notices accordingly
- Manage the full month end financial forecasting processes including the cost report meeting
- Work with the Project Manager to manage the client, and build a strong and trustworthy relationship, delivering win/win outcomes.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE
- Minimum 5 years+ experience in a Snr/Contracts Administrator role within the Construction Industry - a Tier 1 or 2 background would be ideal.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or similar
- Strong financial analysis and administrative focus
- Good negotiation skills
- Strong project reporting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
