Bechtel Mining and Metals has an opportunity for a Senior Contracts Specialist to support the project team in Perth.

About the Role:
As you will be required to effectively liaise with various stakeholders, as well as maintain relationships with bidders and contractor personnel, we are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills who can work collaboratively and inclusively.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and issue contracts and services agreements as assigned by performing the following:
- Prepare bidders’ lists.
- Form bid request packages, addenda and other bid cycle correspondence.
- Issue bid request packages to approved bidders.
- Arrange bidders’ questions and answers.
- Receive and evaluate bids commercially.
- Directs negotiations and prepares proposed negotiating plans.
- Prepares Commercial Bid Summary and Recommendation for Award.
- Recommends and secures approvals in accordance with established procedures.
- Represents Bechtel in contractual discussions of moderate complexity.
- Other responsibilities as designated.
What You Bring:
- Broad experience in the formation, negotiation and award of all types of contracts.
- Experience administering complex construction industry (sub)contracts; extensive knowledge and experience in (sub)contract administration required.
- Able to represent Bechtel in (sub)contract negotiations.
- Experience in developing complex contract types, fee arrangements, terms and conditions.
- Working knowledge of change management procedures pertaining to Requests for Information (RFIs), change notices, change orders, amendments, and claims and dispute resolution.
- Experience, skill or training in supervising personnel, workload distribution and execution of work.
Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required.
