Senior Credit Controller

We are looking for an experienced Senior Credit Controller to provide hands on support to the Credit Team Leader and mentor the junior staff with maintenance of credit standards and exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate credit team to manage credit risk and minimise bad debts
• Ensure Credit Policies and Procedures are adhered to
• Initial Escalation point, ensuring all queries are resolved in a timely manner and referred to Credit Team Leader as required
• Liaising with insurance brokers to effect cancellation of funded policies where necessary
• Maintaining the debtors ledger within policy guidelines to ensure team are meeting monthly KPI
• Provide assistance to the Credit Team Leader with auditing, month end reporting
• Assisting with training and development of new staff
• Providing excellent customer service through assisting clients to resolve their queries
• Working within the sales team to assist and facilitate the collection of amounts
• Understanding of Consumer Credit Laws
• Other ad-hoc duties as required. Cross Functional Collaboration.

• Maintain an in depth knowledge of company products and credit processes

• High Level Leadership skills
• Insurance/Financial industry experience
• Previous Senior Credit Control Experience preferred
