ASKIN Performance Panels is the largest manufacturer and installer of insulated, fire rated, and architectural façade systems based throughout Australia and New Zealand, operating in commercial, industrial and retail projects.
We are looking for a motivated, driven and experienced Credit Controller to join our Finance team.
In this role you will take ownership of the Accounts Receivable function, ensuring that all Accounts Receivable tasks are completed on-time, with 100% accuracy.
Responsibilities and duties include:
- Generating invoices and account statements
- Raising monthly claims on construction contracts
- Allocation of payments
- Reconcile and monitor retentions
- Maintaining Accounts Reconciliation files and records
- Produce monthly financial & management reports
- Monitor accounts and follow up non-payments
- Complex reconciliations
- Handle queries
- Open new accounts, process credit applications and credit checks
- Arrange debtor insurance and monitor credit limits
- Assist in legal escalations
- Regular reporting on outstanding debtors
Skills and experience:
- Qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Economics, Business studies or Mathematics is desirable.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in accounts receivable.
- Construction industry claim processing is highly regarded and Pronto experience would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, results driven and strong problem-solving skills
- Proven time management, planning and organization skills
