About Us

FORM is an independent, not-for-profit organisation based in Claremont with a vision of building a state of creativity and mission to make a real difference to quality of life, learning and livelihood in Western Australia.

We also manage FORM Gallery and Cafe (formerly known as The Goods Shed) in Perth and Spinifex Hill Studio and Project Space in South Hedland.

We work to build a cultural and creative ecology in Western Australia that values artistic excellence, improves arts access for all, and encourages resilient and vibrant communities. Our activities span high-level artistic development and exhibitions; placemaking and cultural infrastructure development; collaboration with Aboriginal artists and communities; creative learning; research and advocacy. Our goal is to provide a platform for emerging talent and to foster a community that celebrates and supports creativity.

FORM is well-known for delivering significant Cultural Tourism projects and creative experiences in collaboration with key strategic partners, including the Albany Field of Light: Avenue of Honour project, PUBLIC: Silo Trail and Thomas Dambo’s Giants of Mandurah.

The Opportunity

Are you passionate about fostering cultural exchange through tourism? Join us in this newly created position of Senior Cultural Tourism Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in major project delivery, event management, stakeholder engagement, and visitor experience. As part of our new Cultural Tourism team, you will collaborate closely with the Cultural Tourism Manager and wider FORM team to lead and support major Cultural Tourism initiatives, ensuring the delivery of world-class experiences while empowering communities and stakeholders.

  • Develop and execute project and program strategies, providing expertise to senior management.
  • Scope, develop, and deliver major Cultural Tourism projects and programs, ensuring long-term sustainable outcomes.
  • Engage with stakeholders and communities, empowering them in the design and delivery of Cultural Tourism experiences.

What you'll need to get you started

  • Deep understanding of Cultural Tourism principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of community engagement methodologies.
  • Cultural sensitivity and respect for Indigenous cultures.
  • Outstanding project management skills
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and financial management
  • Tertiary qualification in arts management, tourism, or related discipline.
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience in managing Cultural Tourism projects.
  • Project management or related certifications are desirable.
  • National Police Clearance and a Valid Driver's license.
