The Department for Child Protection is seeking a Senior Customer Service Officer to join the Adoption Services team on a full-time term basis.
The role is responsible for:
- Providing high level advice and support service to clients involved in matters covered by the Adoption Act and providing a clerical and administrative service to support the delivery of Adoption Services.
- General oversight of the adoptions process, including liaison with internal and external stakeholders to manage related administrative functions.
- Maintaining adoptions register relating to the progress of applicants undertaking adoption assessments as required.
- Assisting in answering more complex enquiries and applications by undertaking investigations, research and preparing appropriate written responses.

We are looking for an organised individual with high attention to detail and ability to take initiative.
Our ideal candidate will have high level interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
To be successful you have experience in the use of database applications and tracking mechanisms as well as knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products.
