About the Business - Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO)
The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) enables a more connected and secure government so that South Australia Government agencies can better serve our community. We do this by developing and delivering resilient and innovative ICT and Cyber Security services and critical infrastructure to SA Government agencies that are accessible, trusted and secure.

Role Details
The Senior Cyber Security Advisor, Legal & Incident Coordination is responsible for the provision of specialist advice and expertise to the Cyber Security Directorate as well as stakeholders across government. The role will support cyber Incident Coordination and consequence management activities at a whole of government level through the provision of risk, policy and legal advice and the coordination of a range of stakeholders needs including the Commonwealth Government s National Office of Cyber Security and the Australian Cyber Security Centre.
Special Conditions
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department s Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some work outside normal hours and some intrastate/interstate travel involving overnight absences may be required.
- Work within a confidential, commercially orientated and at times politically sensitive environment.
- OCIO fulfils the role of Control Agency for Cyber Crisis on behalf of the DPC, as specified in the State Emergency Management Plan. You may be required to participate in Control Agency responsibilities subject to appropriate training and induction.

- Security Clearance (Negative Vetting Level 1)
Essential Conditions:
- A current driver's licence, participation in an on-call roster and participation in an Incident Management Team will be required.
