Your role

 As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will have primary responsibility for investigating and managing cyber incidents, improving Hollard’s cyber detection and response capabilities and building and operating cyber controls that protect our customers, our people and our brand.

Your duties and responsibilities
  • Triage and undertake root-cause analysis of security incidents and issues. 
  • Lead post incident review workshops and prepare post incident review reports.
  • Manage incidents impacting third parties and Hollard.
  • Prepare, manage and deliver cyber incident communications with senior stakeholders.
  • Mentor and coach other security professionals in the team to improve Cyber Defence awareness and expertise.
  • Maintain cyber policies and procedures including incident response plans, playbooks, operational work instructions. 

About You

  • Must have minimum 5 years of Cyber Security experience in a SOC, incident response, threat intelligence or other related cyber area. 
  • Experience working with or running cyber incident investigations, digital forensics and incident response.
  • Good understanding of Cybersecurity frameworks, standards, tools, techniques, and methods. 
  • Strong Security engineering experience on Microsoft technology stack, including Azure cloud technologies is required.  
  • Good understanding of Agile ways of working in the context of cybersecurity solution delivery.   
  • Experience dealing with or understanding of common cyber threats including Ransomware, DDoS, APT attacks and cyber fraud/scams is required.
