About the Role
This is an opportunity for an experienced Design Manager who is passionate about iconic infrastructure projects for Victoria.
Our Civic Infrastructure team are looking for an experienced Senior Design Manager to assist with the delivery of an iconic city shaping project. The Senior Design Manager role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to provide design and project management advice in environments with a large number of passionate stakeholders.
As the Senior Design Manager you will have the opportunity to; work collaboratively with all stakeholders, provide design management advice as well as providing leadership and mentoring to junior members of the team.
Job DescriptionAbout You
- You are passionate about once in a lifetime Civic Infrastructure projects
- You have a tertiary qualification in Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline
- You have exceptional communication skills and are comfortable liaising with stakeholders from a range of disciplines and at every level of seniority
- You have extensive knowledge of and experience in complex construction projects
- You are skilled at risk management and actively identify, analyze and mitigate any risks that may impact on project objectives.
- You are experienced in managing and coordinating the design process from design conception through to completion
