The Digital Services team works collaboratively across several product teams developing services and experiences for both ASC and sport.

About the role – Digital technologies are transforming all aspects of sport, from participation to high performance and administration. Working within a small multidisciplinary design team, the Senior Developer will help deliver seamless experiences across all channels and services to connect the Australian sport industry with participants and the Australian public. You will work across several product teams to deliver usable, consistent and delightful user experiences across our digital services.
You will lead the development of software components to deliver value to stakeholders, and apply processes, systems and functions required to make new and changed services and features available for use. You will work with colleagues on developing a design system for ASC and sport, with a focus on usability, re-usability, accessibility, best-practice dev-ops, feature updates and guidance within ASC and Australian sport.
About you – You must be an experienced and motivated individual with excellent attention to detail and experience delivering software with a human-centred mindset within an agile environment who will drive the software design and delivery of ASC digital services. You will contribute to the development of a design system for the sport sector and ASC’s digital properties, utilising other foundational design systems for reference and guidance.
The successful candidate will have:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or related experience.
Experience with dev-ops practices and tools
Experience with frameworks such as React, JavaScript, TypeScript, GraphQL, Next.js, .NET, Node.js, Python or Java.
Experience with relational and document databases.
Experience with design systems.
Desired experience with design-ops tools including Figma and Storybook or similar
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
2-4 years of industry experience

Eligibility
To be eligible for this position applicants are required to be Australian citizens only and must be able to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance.
