Details: We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor to join our team. This role works alongside TCCS staff to ensure the provision of timely and accurate advice relating to recruitment and selection processes and coordination of position establishments and variations. This position requires a team member with the skills to effectively develop and translate strategies for practical/operational implementation.

This recruitment process will be used to fill a currently vacant temporary position with the possibility to utilise the process to fill other vacancies across the branch as they arise.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
Professional / Technical Skills
- Demonstrated capacity to provide information in a way that is easily understood by stakeholders and helps them to make informed decisions.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of general human resource related matters including recruitment.
Behavioural Skills
- High-level employee engagement skills demonstrating emotional intelligence and cultural awareness while providing outstanding client service.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Compliance Requirements / Qualifications
- Qualifications in Human Resources and / or Organisational Development or relevant field are highly desirable.
- This position does not require a pre-employment medical.
- This position does not require a Working with Vulnerable People Check.
- To be eligible for permanent employment within the ACT Public Service you must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident.
- Individuals on visas with Australian working rights are eligible to apply for temporary non-ongoing roles.
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of 12 months with the possibility of permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. This position is in a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
