Based in Melbourne CBD this award-winning Underwriting Company is currently recruiting a Technical/Senior Claims consultant. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced consultant to join their dynamic team. The company specialises in hard-to-place property risks.
Your new role
- Mentor and coach claims team members in handling complex and Technical Claims.
- Support the Claims Manager with Internal Dispute Resolution and AFCA claims.
- Assist owners and brokers with claim enquiries, including help with interpreting policy work and cover.
- Collaborate with Lloyd's and other insurers on claims matters.
What you need to Succeed
- At least 4 years of commercial property and strata claims experience.
- Experience coaching and developing teams.
- Knowledge of IDR and AFCA submissions.
- Demonstrated commercial & business acumen
- The ability to work autonomously but also appreciate working in a collaborative team
