Senior Electrical Engineer required for a Mid Tier EPC Contractor specialising in the Power Generation / Power Systems projects.

About the role
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to provide Electrical Engineering expertise to multiple projects.
This position reports directly to the Engineering Manager and you will assist and be responsible in determining priorities, meeting strict deadlines and budget demands within our clients extensive project portfolio.
This role is offered on a full-time basis.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Contribute to the delivery of engineering designs, feasibility studies & projects
- Prepare technical reports related to specific design issues
- Take the lead and collaborate to provide high-quality engineering deliverables
- Engage with stakeholders and risk owners to manage operating risks.
- Apply a working knowledge of relevant legislation and engineering standards
- Review system design ensuring compliance with standards and specifications
- Supervision, development and mentoring of graduate and junior level engineers.
- Manage activity planning and resourcing.
To be considered for this role you will require the following:
- Strong communication, relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage the design process and drive deliverables.
- Experience with Power System Design
- Quality Focus and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel
Skills, Experience & Desirables
- Tertiary qualified Electrical Engineer
- 8 years+ of previous EPC / EPCM experience ideally within mining or resources, utility or manufacturing sectors
- Project design experience ideally in power generation / power systems within mining or resources, utility or manufacturing sectors
