About the role:
BMD is in a significant growth phase in South East Queensland with a strong pipeline of projects in hand and as a result, we are looking for an Estimator to price a range of diverse civil infrastructure projects. With access to best in industry systems and software tools, you will collaborate with pre-contract teams and deliver exceptional winning civil infrastructure and urban development bids across Australia.
This role will be based in our Brisbane, Port of Brisbane Office, estimating projects in;
- Land development – Residential and Industrial subdivisions
- Water/Sewer upgrades
- Road infrastructure for local councils
- Defence contracts
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 7+ years’ experience in the Civil Construction industry in estimating
- A mix of project and estimating experience is ideal
- First principle estimating experience
- Experience with the development of subcontractor work packages and review
- Exposure to Expert Estimation is desirable
