AddressOur Government client is seeking to engage an experienced Senior Project Officer to work with a team on the implementation of up to $43m of Solar and Air-conditioning projects including roof replacements for properties within NSW.
Key Accountabilities
- Work closely with the Solar & AC Project Manager and report back to the manager on project status, risks, issues, budget updates and provide ad hoc reporting.
- Manage and oversee aspects of projects and implementations, including developing and monitoring project plans, coordinating resources, and monitoring budgets to ensure successful project milestones are met.
- Prepare a range of project-related documents for key stakeholders as required, including status updates, reports, budgets, and discussion papers to manage the flow of information.
- Conduct site visits and contractor management as required within the team structure.
- Maintain oversight of project progress and identify issues and risks bringing them to the attention of the Project Manager.
- 3-5 years Project Management experience and 3 years Contract Management experience with background in government sector preferred.
- Familiar with tender documentation and evaluation of tender submissions.
- Ability to work in a team, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and lead contractor meetings when required.
- Excellent communication skills and experience with internal and external stakeholder engagement.
- Skills in MS Office suite (Project, Excel, Word, PPT); Salesforce and SAP desirable.
- Valid Driver's License.
- White Card or willing to obtain.
- Project management certification desirable.
