- Delivery of Major Event Programs
Our client is seeking a Senior Events Officer to oversee the coordination and execution of Major Events to ensure all event activities align with the strategic direction.
About the role:
- Lead strategic planning and execution of major events and sponsorships.
- Support the delivery of community events, review major events, develop documentation, and present reports.
- Supervise contract management, ensuring compliance and desired outcomes.
- Facilitate compliant procurement of contractors and maintain compliance with safety regulations and organizational values.
- Ensure systematic storage of corporate documentation and perform other assigned duties as needed.
About you:
- Suitable candidate will have relevant qualifications/experience and demonstrated expertise in organizing diverse community and local government events.
- Proficient in administrative tasks, budgeting, time management, leadership, and staff supervision, with expertise in Workplace Health and Safety regulations.
- Skilled in maintaining stakeholder relationships and conflict resolution.
- Must hold a Current Class 'C' Drivers Licence.
