What does the job involve?
JLL has an opportunity for a commercially astute Senior Facilities Manager to work with a high-profile government client on site 3 days a week, and 2 day working from home.
This role is accountable for the team and deliverables for the Metro portfolio, which manages and maintains a mix of Owned Properties and Leased Premises within the Melbourne metro region, on a day-to-day basis to support the service delivery functions of Government Client tenants occupying the premises and ensuring compliance with performance expectations.
The Senior FM will work extensively with Property Directors to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the maintenance requirements of the assets within their respective portfolios. This role is supported by the Asset Risk and Compliance team.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Key point of contact for Facilities within the client’s portfolio
- Build and develop effective client / stakeholder relationships across multiple levels of the organisation
- Provide strong leadership and supervision of the Facilities Management support team;
- Oversee management of facilities and services contracts, to ensure that they are professionally delivered at the right costs
- Ensuring everyone stays safe
- Procurement & Vendor Management
- Engaging with the Property Management Team
Ensure compliance side is completed by the facilities managers * Keeping an eye on the Site & Operations, 24/7 emergency call support and site attendance is required but is not frequent
- Managing & inspiring your team
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Formal qualifications in a Property or Facilities Management discipline or extensive industry experience will be looked upon favourably.
- Strong communicator, have excellent presentation skills and have a passion for quality.
- The ability to deal with a variety of complex issues concurrently, within tight operational deadlines
- Goal oriented and focused on meeting performance targets
- Be able to manage external providers
- Liaise with internal stakeholders at all levels and thrive working within a team environment
