The Senior Marketing Manager role in Australia and New Zealand is responsible for building and executing integrated B2B marketing programs to generate pipeline and drive revenue goals. The marketing plan is multi-tiered and multi-faceted with 1:1 and 1:few programs across Direct and Indirect Go-to-Market models and includes measurements on overall marketing contribution to pipeline. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high ROI from integrated campaigns across Direct and Indirect go to markets as well as having an understanding of user and buyer personas across the IT buyers market and knowledge of IT Sector in B2B market.
The role requires experience and a proven track record in planning and executing Intergated Marketing programs/campaigns designed to drive high quality pipeline opportunities including the use of various techniques such as traditional demand, social, digital, in-person and virtual events, customer advocacy, and thought leadership content. This role requires experience in working closely with cross functional teams and the partner ecosystem including Sales, Pre Sales, Product Lines, Customer Success and Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set and execute the marketing strategy in close collaboration with sales leadership.
  • Create an integrated and multi-channel marketing plan including Direct & Indirect sales through partners and distributors
  • Develop and execute monthly/quarterly marketing programs for different account segments that focus on three major objectives - build pipeline, accelerate pipeline and nurture relationships with high-propensity-to-buy accounts.
  • Serve as the marketing liaison for sales team, ensuring plans and goals align with key leadership functions including solutions marketing, product pillars, sales, corporate brand and communications
  • Drive creation of relevant content and messaging considering partner resellers and their ability to replicate in their own marketing campaigns
  • Able to dynamically adapt to changes in market and corporate strategy
  • Support global initiatives with localized focus, input and customization
  • Work in conjunction with Corporate teams to leverage events, digital and social media
initiatives
  • Manage external agencies in the execution of programs across the area
  • Utilize infrastructure tools to analyze pipeline and adjust program mix accordingly to meet sales needs. Ability to convert data into knowledge.
To ensure you are set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
  • Demonstrable marketing experience, ideally within demand generation in an enterprise IT environment
  • Strong sales acumen
  • Keen understanding of the enterprise software sales cycle with a target audience mix of C-level, IT and senior level business buyers. Experience of both direct and indirect sales channels
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Results driven, teamwork oriented and customer focused
  • Analytical and process skills
  • Good understanding of demand generation, and effective progression tactics.
  • Excellent time management and conflict resolutions skills
  • Travel is required (approx. 20-30% of time)
