This is a mobile role with office based in Moore St, Canberra
The role will create a differentiated customer experience by understanding, tailoring and communicating Optus products and services, and ensuring a premium service is delivered.
- Build and maintain a strong level of technical proficiency in the areas of customer activation and assurance relating to Smart products, broadband, unified communications, and a growing product space.
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of E2E all associated infrastructure, equipment and components in order to both commission services and equipment effectively and ensure a methodical fault diagnosis.
- Work collaboratively with relevant partner groups and individuals to develop, maintain or create technical and operational processes relating to the successful implementation of products via direct and indirect channels. This may include supporting the business in the testing of designed products, services, processes, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Permanent residency (Australian Citizenship)
- Clean Police check
- Technical skills and experience in areas such as ICT - broadband, end customer private network, network installations/assurance, cabling and Wifi optimisation, unified communications, smart products, smart TV/AV, Security Cameras and associated OEM ecosystem.
- Ability to develop positive and professional working relationships with people at all levels of the organisation.
- Industry based technical certifications and licensing including but not limited to Registered Cabler, Security License and Driver's license.
- High level of technical expertise and competence in relevant technologies and customer networks.
- Strong understanding of all WHS standards, policies and procedures, and WHS assessment on installation/assurance of products and services are being fulfilled.
- Ability to be able to independently assess situations and make decisions.
