Senior Field Supervisor

Primary Location QLD - Fortitude ValleyJob Description Summary As the Senior Field Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing direction and supervision of subcontractors, and internal work crews to ensure all field work activity is conducted at each site in a safe and effective manner. The area of responsibility covers Gympie to Cairns.About the RoleNature of Position: Permanent, Full-TimeReporting Lead: Field Service ManagerLocation: QLD - preferably in the Cairns, Townsville and Rockhampton regionRequirements:

• Provide Leadership and direction to assist techs, and IWF safely achieve project delivery KPI’s and meet customer expectations.
• Provide Subject Matter Expertise in the construction/maintenance of NBN networks providing detailed knowledge and support to the FSM to plan and execute all requirements for the client.
• Liaise closely with NBN field staff and/or middle management - attend meetings, site inspections etc.
• Possess a high level of organisation skills to achieve production targets. Be effective with time management and be able to prioritise critical issues.
• Possess suitable negotiation and communication skills to ensure diplomatic resolution of work based and stakeholder issues.
• Demonstrable commercial acumen and understanding of commercial processes.
• Allocate Supervision resources to meet program requirements.
• Ensure all SLAs/OLAs/KPIs are met.

About You

• Previous working experience in a Telecommunications network construction environment leading NBN and Telstra field operations
• Possess an expert knowledge for the delivery and maintenance of large-scale construction projects for NBN and a thorough understanding of relevant aspects of the various networks and the work practices required by NBN
• Understand materials/component identification and supply chain flows across all technologies
• Ability in resolving day-to-day operational issues and solve technical problems with a high degree of autonomy and independent judgement, and key working relationships with the client’s regional teams
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
