We take great pride in our work, and make as much as possible ourselves, in-house, daily from local, and mexican-imported products. Day-to-day responsibilities:
Working in conjunction with the owner, FOH manager, and other senior and junior staff you will:
- Ensure and contribute to a smooth service in line with our core values
- Manage reservations and function enquiries
- Guide & develop junior staff
- In line with our core values, handle and troubleshoot any issues/complaints that may arise
- Greet guests & serve throughout the evening
- Prepare & serve drinks ranging from tap beer, wines, cocktails, mocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks
- Manage various forms of customer interaction & ordering: reservations, walk-ins, telephone, online, takeaway & delivery using both in-person and technological methods
- Share your knowledge about Mexican cuisine and Tequila with customers and other staff (training provided)
- Ensure and monitor a clean and safe work environment
- Open, Pack down, restock, ordering, reporting, roserting & cash ups
- Assist in the on-going development of systems and processes
Experience & Qualities:
- Proven history of experience in a similar position
- Respectful, honest, humble, fair & reliable
- A positive can-do attitude – a “leave your worries at the door” mindset
- The ability to own your mistakes and learn from them (“It’s not a failure… It’s a Lesson.”)
- Take pride in your work, and care for your team, your guests, the venue, and the equipment you use
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring continuous high quality of service and products in line with our core values
- A passion for training & nurturing junior staff
- A fastidious attention to detail whilst maintaining a practical approach to tasks
- Available nights, weekends & some public holidays
- Intention to commit to this role for a longer term
