About The Role
- Preparation and analysis of the monthly profit and loss for one of our brands (including preparation/posting of journals) accurately and timely.
- Analyze P&L – By client/Project/Service Line/State etc. to identify gaps between costs and revenue versus forecast/budget and supporting business with understanding of drivers for variances.
- Respond to financial inquiries or reporting requests from commercial teams and head of finance by collecting, summarising, analysing and interpreting data and Provide monthly, weekly and ad hoc reporting as may be required by the business.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, financial reports and analysis to the business with ad hoc reporting on weekly and monthly basis.
- Cooperate with Head of Finance Operations to maintain internal controls documentation to ensure an effective control environment; monthly check and approval of Balance Sheets reconciliation.
- Respond to financial inquiries or reporting requests by collecting, summarising, analysing and interpreting data.
- Ensure compliance with Group Policies and provide support for internal and external audit.
- Drive process improvements and value add initiatives to continuously improve all aspects of accounting, results preparation, reporting, accuracy and customer experience.
- Perform project work as required.
- Mimumim 5 years’ experience in Corporate Accounting
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
- CA/CPA Qualification
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and intermediate proficiency in PeopleSoft and MSD 365
- Able to work autonomously
- Self-driven and highly resilient
- Strong analytic aptitude
- Ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders
